It is a sustainable rapeseed & coconut wax for container candles, suitable for vegans (does not contain beeswax), not tested on animals. It can also be mixed with another wax to obtain the desired properties of the wax. This is a great alternative to soy wax. NatureWax® Elite 600 vegetable wax is a proprietary blend of hydrogenated vegetable glycerides (vegetable wax) based on Rapeseed and Coconut oils.

This wax quickly solidifies, has a particularly good fragrance throw, minimal wick "mushrooming", and is biodegradable. At low temperatures it tends to shrink from the walls of the vessel and the surface may crack. It is therefore recommended to use colored glasses or tins. It is possible to reduce the risk of surface cracks by preheating the containers to room temperature and pouring at + 45-55 ° C, and if the containers are not heated, it is advisable to raise the pouring temperature to + 65 ° C.

Purpose: for candles in jars.
Shape: 1 kg sample pack.
Melting point: +34 - 38 ° C.
Maximum heating temperature: + 90 ° C (it is advisable to heat at maximum temperature only very shortly just to dissolve red pigment paint chips). It is best to heat only up to + 60-80 ° C!
The optimal amount of fragrance in the wax is 6%, the maximum - 8-10%, depending on the odor. For essential oils it is better to use only up to 8% concentration, and for fragrance oils - only up to 10%.
Recommended fragrance pouring temperature: + 65 ° C, almost immediately after the wax has melted. Thoroughly mix the wax with the scent for about 2 minutes and then pour.
Recommended pouring temperature - + 45-55 ° C in room temperature containers (+ 20- + 30 ° C). Low pouring temperature and slow pouring can help to prevent air bubbles and uneven surface. If the containers are not heated, raise the pouring temperature to + 65 ° C.
The surface of the candles may need a second filling or heating to correct any unevenness.
This wax can contract from the walls of the vessel.

Recommended wicks: cotton and linen, TB, wooden wicks.

Recommended sizes for 300 ml jars (inner diameter 77 mm) with this wax:

• TB sizes 12, 14 or 16,
• cotton and linen sizes 10, 12 or 14.

General wick recommendations for jars with this wax according to the inner diameter of the jar:

• 55 mm for cotton and linen wick size 8,
• 70 mm for cotton and linen wick size 14,
• 75-80 mm - cotton and linen wick size 16-17,
• 125 mm - 3 pcs. x wick size of cotton and linen 8.

It is advisable to test the strength of the fragrance and burn the candle no earlier than 48 hours after pouring. 

Please note that vegetable wax (soy, coconut, palm, etc.) changes its structure (becomes drier, harder) all the time after pouring, so be patient and wait at least 10 to 14 days before testing. It continues to harden over the course of their life.
