Soya wax Golden Wax 464 for container candles is a vegetable wax in flakes with soya-based additives. It reduces frosting and increases the amount of fragrance allowed. Great for beginners!

The date of manufacture of the wax currently on sale is 19 August 2023. It should be used within 12 months of the date of manufacture.

Purpose: For jar candles, tea lights.
Recommended wicks: Wedo Stabilo, TB, cotton & linen, cotton & hemp, wooden wicks.
Shape: Flakes.
Melting point: + 46-48 ° C.
Maximum heating temperature: + 80-85 ° C.
The optimum content of fragrance in the wax is 6-10%, the maximum - 12%.
The recommended temperature for adding fragrances is +65.5-75°C, depending on the fragrance - it is better to pour all citrus fragrances at a lower temperature and cinnamon, for example, at a higher temperature.
Recommended wax pouring temperature - +57-65°C. If the surface hardens unevenly, a higher temperature wax should be poured.

Curing properties: Adheres well to the walls of the vessel, but is characterised by uneven surface solidification, which can be corrected by a second pour of wax immediately after solidification or by heating the surface with a hot air gun.

Melting of the whole surface when the candle is burned: this should not happen during the first burning, which would mean that the wick is too large; usually the whole surface melts during 3-5 burns, and any wax residue melts when the vessel is heated.

Vegetable wax (soy, coconut, palm, etc.) changes its structure (becomes drier, harder) all the time after pouring, so be patient and wait at least 10 to 14 days before testing. It continues to harden over the course of their life.

Wax storage conditions: best stored at + 24 ° C or lower in a dry and ventilated room. Protect from extreme conditions, i. i.e.,> + 32 ° C heat, and <+ 5 ° C temperature. It is best used within 12 months from the date of manufacture.
