Dye-pigment blends BEKRO

Dye-pigment blends are created for coloring the entire mass of wax.

Not suitable for exterior decoration or dipping of pillar candles, as these blends will eventually begin to "migrate" to the surface and appear blurry, the pattern will not be stable. 

Why dye-pigment blends? Because some dye colors are physically and chemically impossible to make from existing raw materials, pigments have to be used. This creates blends of dye & pigments for coloring the entire candle mass.

As these dyes contains pigments, it is very important not to exceed the specified maximum concentration by weight of wax, usually 1 to 2 percent.

These dye-pigment blends are suitable for through-coloring candles because:

• they are safe to burn when the recommended concentration in wax is not exceeded, i. e. up to 1 - 2% of wax mass;

• they will not clog the wick, just as would pure pigments do.
