Metal & Ceramic Candle Containers

Metal and ceramic containers are a practical and stylish choice for candle making. Our metal tins are coated with a food-safe lacquer, making them suitable not only for candles, but also for storing food, cosmetics, oils, and other products.

Choosing the Right Wick for Metal Containers

For metal tins, we recommend using wicks with long-neck sustainers. These sustainers help extinguish the flame before it reaches the thin metal base, reducing the risk of overheating the container and the surface beneath it.

Our pre-waxed wicks are factory-fitted with long-neck sustainers to provide maximum candle safety.

You can also use unwaxed wicks. Simply:

• prime them in melted wax;
• cut them to the required length;
• insert them into suitable metal sustainers.

Wooden Wicks

Wooden wicks are also suitable for metal and ceramic containers. Since many of our tins are relatively shallow, additional wooden wick clips may be useful. They allow you to trim a standard 15 cm wooden wick and create two shorter wicks from a single piece.

Each product description includes the recommended wick size for that specific container. Before producing larger batches of candles, we always recommend performing a burn test using your chosen wax, fragrance load, and wick combination.
