Recommended Dosage

Recommended dosage: approximately 0.2% of the wax weight.

For example:

• 100 g wax – approx. 0.2 g dye;
• 500 g wax – approx. 1 g dye;
• 1000 g wax – approx. 2 g dye.

At a 0.2% dosage, one 10 g pack is sufficient to colour approximately 5 kg of wax.

Use a smaller amount for a softer shade.

How to Use

BEKRO dye is designed for colouring the candle wax throughout. Add the dye to fully melted wax and stir thoroughly to ensure even colour distribution.

The final shade will depend on:

• the type and natural colour of the wax;
• dye concentration;
• fragrance oils and other additives;
• wax crystallisation and cooling conditions.

Vegetable waxes generally produce softer, less intense colours than paraffin wax. We recommend making a small test candle before producing larger batches.

Natural waxes may also develop characteristic surface effects such as frosting or pulling away from the sides of the container. These effects are related to the wax and are not necessarily caused by the dye.
