Concentrated BEKRO candle dye-pigment in flake form, 10 g. Colour – Yellowish.
A warm, soft yellowish shade suitable for natural, neutral and pastel candle collections. By adjusting the amount used, you can create anything from a subtle yellowish tint to a richer warm shade.
Colour type: dye and pigment blend
Colour code: 43-1207
Weight: 10 g
Manufacturer: BEKRO
Made in: Germany
Recommended Dosage
Recommended dosage: approximately 0.1% of the wax weight.
For example:
- 100 g wax – approx. 0.1 g;
- 500 g wax – approx. 0.5 g;
- 1000 g wax – approx. 1 g.
At a 0.1% dosage, one 10 g pack is theoretically sufficient to colour approximately 10 kg of wax.
Use a smaller amount for a softer yellowish shade.
How to Use
Add the dye-pigment to fully melted wax and mix thoroughly to distribute the colour evenly throughout the wax.
As this product is a dye and pigment blend, it is important to ensure both even distribution of the soluble dye component and uniform dispersion of the pigment particles throughout the wax.
The final shade will depend on:
- the type and natural colour of the wax;
- colour concentration;
- fragrance oils and other additives;
- production and cooling conditions.
Vegetable waxes generally produce softer, less intense colours than paraffin wax. The natural colour of the wax will also influence the final yellowish shade.
We recommend making a small test candle before producing larger batches and assessing the final colour only after the wax has completely set.
Natural waxes may also develop frosting or pull away from the sides of the container. These effects are related to the properties of the wax and do not necessarily indicate a problem with the colourant.
