Concentrated BEKRO white candle dye in flake form, 10 g. Colour – Opaque White.

This dye is used to lighten the natural colour of wax and give it a whiter, more opaque appearance. It is particularly useful for waxes with a naturally yellowish or creamy tone or when a stronger white appearance is required.

Unlike an optical brightener, this is a white pigment-based candle colour designed to increase the whiteness and opacity of the wax.

Recommended Dosage

Recommended dosage: approximately 0.2% of the wax weight.

For example:

• 100 g wax – approx. 0.2 g dye;
• 500 g wax – approx. 1 g dye;
• 1000 g wax – approx. 2 g dye.

For a subtle whitening effect, start with a smaller amount and adjust as required.

How to Use

Use in the same way as other BEKRO candle dyes:

1. melt the wax completely;
2. add the required amount of white dye;
3. stir thoroughly until evenly distributed throughout the wax;
4. make a small test candle before producing a larger batch.

The final level of whiteness will depend on the type and natural colour of the wax, dye concentration and other additives used.

Suitable for vegetable waxes and paraffin wax. In naturally yellow or cream-coloured waxes, the dye can noticeably lighten the appearance, although the final result may not be identical to that obtained with naturally white paraffin or another pale wax.

Always test the dye with your chosen wax before larger-scale production.
