Recommended Dosage

Recommended dosage: approximately 0.15% of the wax weight.

For example:

• 100 g wax – approx. 0.15 g dye;
• 500 g wax – approx. 0.75 g dye;
• 1000 g wax – approx. 1.5 g dye.

At a 0.15% dosage, one 10 g pack is sufficient to colour approximately 6.6 kg of wax.

Use a smaller amount for a softer yellow shade.

How to Use

BEKRO dye is designed for colouring candle wax throughout. Add the dye to fully melted wax and stir thoroughly to ensure even colour distribution.

The final shade may vary depending on:

• the type and natural colour of the wax;
• dye concentration;
• fragrance oils and other additives;
• production and cooling conditions.

Vegetable waxes generally produce softer, less intense colours than paraffin wax, so the dosage may need to be adjusted when a deeper shade is required.

We recommend making a small test candle before producing larger batches and assessing the final colour only once the wax has completely set.

Natural waxes may also develop frosting or pull away from the sides of the container. These effects are related to the properties of the wax and do not necessarily indicate a problem with the dye.
