ORGANIC SHEA BUTTER is a white solid soap base containing certified organic shea butter, designed for making soap at home using the melt-and-pour method. Simply melt the base, add your chosen ingredients and pour it into a mould.

Create soaps in a variety of colours and fragrances without handling lye separately. Once the soap has cooled completely and hardened, it is ready to use – no additional curing time is required.

Ingredients

Water, glycerin, propylene glycol, sodium laureth sulfate, sodium stearate, sorbitol, sodium laurate, sodium chloride, shea butter (Butyrospermum Parkii)*, polysorbate 20, sodium thiosulfate, titanium dioxide, etidronic acid.

The shea butter is a certified organic ingredient. This designation applies to the shea butter, not to the entire soap base.

How to Make Soap

1. Prepare the base. Cut open the packaging with scissors and remove the base. Cut it into smaller pieces to reduce melting time.

2. Melt. A double boiler or water bath is recommended. The base can also be melted in a microwave. Do not exceed 72 °C during heating, as the base may dry out and turn yellow.

3. Add your ingredients. Add soap-safe colourants, fragrance oils or other additives, following their usage recommendations. Stir slowly and thoroughly until evenly distributed.

4. Pour into a mould. Allow the soap to cool completely and harden before removing it from the mould.

Caution: melted soap base is hot.

Store in a cool, well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
