This vibrant, refreshing fragrance oil opens with citrus notes – blood orange, lemon and bergamot blend with the fresh, slightly sharp aroma of juniper berries. A spicy warmth unfolds at its heart: the piquancy of chilli peppers and allspice berries is balanced by earthy sage, lavender and delicate floral and fruity notes. A base of cedarwood, vetiver and patchouli adds depth, wrapped in gentle amber warmth for a serene finish.

We recommend not smelling the fragrance oil directly from the bottle, as it is a concentrated substance. Test the scent by applying a small amount to a fragrance testing strip. Assess its full character in the finished product.

Fragrance oil may change the colour of wax, reed diffuser base or room spray base. Colour changes depend on the fragrance composition, concentration and base used. Please test a small batch first.

Usage

• Recommended amount in paraffin wax: 4–6%; vegetable wax: 5–10%.
• Stated maximum amount in vegetable wax: 10%.
• Stated maximum amount in reed diffusers: 20%, using Augeo Clean Multi.
• Stated maximum amount in room sprays: 5%, using cyclopentasiloxane.

The amount used must not exceed the applicable limit in the current IFRA document or the wax or base manufacturer’s recommendations. Before making larger quantities, test compatibility and stability and, for candles, carry out burn tests.

UFI and labelling

The need for a UFI code and a PCN submission depends on the composition and classification of the finished mixture. The fragrance percentage alone does not establish an exemption. CLP labelling requirements must also be assessed for the finished mixture.
