A warm and elegant woody fragrance with oriental nuances, combining a spicy opening with a soft floral heart and a rich base of oud, Palo Santo wood, leather, musk and sandalwood.

The fragrance has the character of a luxury niche perfume – woody, musky and gently spiced, without being overpowering.

The fragrance intensity is relatively soft, so we recommend testing it in the intended finished product before purchasing larger quantities.

Please note: the flash point is not a recommended temperature for adding fragrance oil to wax.

Recommended Use

Candles:

• paraffin wax – approximately 4–6%;
• vegetable wax – approximately 5–6%;
• stated maximum in vegetable wax – 10%.

When using higher fragrance loads, always follow the wax manufacturer's recommendations and carry out a full burn test.

Reed diffusers:

• up to 20% with Augeo Clean Multi, according to the documentation provided for this fragrance.

Room mists:

• up to 5% with a cyclopentasiloxane base, according to the documentation provided for this fragrance.

If a different base, fragrance concentration or end use is selected, the applicable IFRA, CLP, labelling and, where relevant, UFI / PCN requirements must be reassessed.

Evaluating the Fragrance

Fragrance oil is a concentrated fragrance composition, so we do not recommend assessing the scent directly from the bottle.

For an initial evaluation:

• apply a small amount to a fragrance testing strip;
• or prepare a small sample of the intended finished product.

The true character and strength of the fragrance are best assessed in the finished product.

Colour Changes

Fragrance oils may affect the colour of candle wax, reed diffuser base or room mist base.

As this fragrance oil is yellowish, a slight colour change may be visible in particularly white or pale formulations.

Always test a small batch before larger-scale production.

Prepared CLP, SDS and other formulation-specific templates may only be used when the composition and fragrance concentration of the finished product exactly match the formula stated in the document.

If the base, fragrance concentration or formulation is changed, the classification and labelling of the finished product must be reassessed.

UFI / PCN requirements depend on the CLP classification of the finished mixture and not solely on the percentage of fragrance oil used.
