A sensual and luxurious rose and oud fragrance, where a soft, velvety floral character gradually develops into a darker base of woods, amber, vanilla, benzoin and tonka bean.

The fragrance opens with Turkish rose, ylang-ylang and oud softened by a smooth satin accord. At the heart, rose, violet and geranium mingle with Ceylon cinnamon and subtle fruity nuances, while the base reveals Laotian oud, guaiac wood, walnut, cedar, amber, vanilla, benzoin, tonka bean and musk.

A warm floral-woody fragrance inspired by luxurious oriental perfumery, particularly suited to autumn and winter candle and home fragrance collections.

Please note: the flash point is not a recommended temperature for adding fragrance oil to wax.

Recommended Use

Candles:

• paraffin wax – approximately 4–6%;
• vegetable wax – approximately 5–6%;
• stated maximum in vegetable wax – 10%.

Always take the wax manufacturer's recommended fragrance load into account. A higher fragrance percentage does not necessarily produce a stronger-performing candle, so each wax, wick and fragrance combination should undergo a full burn test.

Reed diffusers:

• up to 20% with Augeo Clean Multi, provided this complies with the IFRA and formulation-specific documentation for this fragrance.

Room fragrance products:

• up to 5% with a cyclopentasiloxane base, according to the documentation supplied for this fragrance.

If a different base, concentration or end use is selected, the applicable IFRA, CLP, labelling and, where relevant, UFI / PCN requirements must be reassessed.

Evaluating the Fragrance

Fragrance oil is a concentrated fragrance composition, so we do not recommend evaluating it directly from the bottle.

For an initial assessment, apply a small amount to a fragrance testing strip. The true character, intensity and balance of the fragrance are best evaluated in the finished product.

Colour Changes

This fragrance oil is yellowish and may slightly affect the colour of white or very pale wax and other bases.

A colour change caused by fragrance oil can be normal and does not in itself indicate a product defect. Always test a small batch before larger-scale production.

UFI Information

According to the classification information provided for this fragrance, a candle containing less than 10% of this fragrance oil does not trigger a UFI / PCN requirement for this specific formulation.

This is not a universal 10% rule for all fragrance oils. Final classification depends on the complete formulation and current raw-material documentation.
