Cedar & Saffron is an intense spicy, woody and tobacco-style fragrance. Warm saffron and fresh bergamot open the composition before giving way to the earthy depth of cedarwood, sandalwood and patchouli. A warm base of musk, vanilla and an ambergris accord leaves a smooth and elegant trail.

The ambergris note is a perfumery accord rather than animal-derived natural ambergris; according to the supplier, the formulation contains no animal-derived raw materials and is suitable for vegans.

Product Information

The flash point is not the recommended temperature for adding fragrance oil to wax.

Colour Change

This fragrance oil may give some waxes a bluish tint.

It also contains 6.5% vanillin, so pale waxes and other bases may develop yellow, cream or darker discolouration over time.

Always test a small batch before larger-scale production.

Evaluating the Fragrance

Do not smell concentrated fragrance oil directly from the bottle.

Apply a small amount to a fragrance testing strip for initial evaluation. Its true character and intensity should be assessed in the finished product.

Recommended Use

Candles

• paraffin wax: approx. 4–6%;
• vegetable wax: approx. 5–10%;
• stated maximum in vegetable wax: 10%.

Always observe the maximum fragrance load specified by the wax manufacturer.

Room mists with Cyclopentasiloxane

• up to 5% according to this fragrance's documentation.
