Choosing a wick

The following wick sizes are recommended as starting points for burn testing:

• Wedo Stabilo: 8, 10 or 12.

• Cotton & Linen wick: 14.

• TB: 18.

• LCB .04 wooden wicks: 12.7 mm or 15.9 mm.

The final wick choice depends on the wax, fragrance oil, dyes and their concentrations. These sizes are starting guidelines – burn testing of the finished candle is essential.

Before pouring your candle, wash and degrease the glass thoroughly, then allow it to dry completely.
