Cyclopentasiloxane is a clear, light and odorless silicone fluid with low viscosity and a cyclic structure. Due to its properties, cyclopentasiloxane is particularly suitable for the production of room and linen mists and other related products:

• room and linen mists,
• baths, body care products,
• perfume,
• antiperspirants, deodorants,
• hair, skin care products.

Product properties:

1. it is a vegan synthetic polymer as it does not contain any animal-based components;
2. it is made out of two natural elements, silicon, and oxygen;
3. it is one of the most used silicone in skincare;
4. it is a direct alternative to another similar room mist base - cyclomethicone.

Do not spray on hard surfaces - slippery drops may remain. Please test small amount first before producing a larger size.

As a liquid fragrance diluent and non-hazardous base, cyclopentasiloxane is suitable for cosmetic and body care products and can provide a silky and soft feel to them, also can perfectly reveal fragrance notes and evaporate quickly in room or linen mists. In order for the product not to stain fabrics and other surfaces, it is important to use non-colouredfragrance or essential oils.

Main cyclopentasiloxane properties:

Recommended fragrance content in products with cyclopentasiloxane:

• in room and linen mists - 3 - 5 percent.
• in antiperspirants, deodorants - 3 - 10 percent.
• in hair care products - 1 - 5 percent.
• in skin care products - 3 - 10 percent.
• in perfumes - 0.5 - 3 percent.

For example, when making room mists use per 100 g of cyclopentasiloxane and 3 to 5 g of fragrance, the total amount of final product will be 103 to 105 g.
