A solid transparent melt & pour soap base with organic olive oil for an easy soap-making process at home.

How to make soap from this melt & pour soap base: 

1. Preparation. Cut open the package with scissors and remove the content. Cut the product into smaller segments to reduce the melting time.
2. Melting. Forbury Direct soap base is best melted in a double boiler, but can be melted in the microwave. Heating the base more than +72°C  may cause the soap to dehydrate and turn yellow.
3. Adding ingredients. Add your colorants, fragrance oils or other ingredients. Stir well and slowly. Make sure the ingredients are mixed well with the base. 
4. Pouring. Pour the soap into the mould, allow time for the soap to set into the moulds shape, once set, remove from mould.

Benefits of melt and pour soap base include not having to handle lye, the wide variety of color options available, and no curing time.

Caution: The soap base is hot when melted.
