Soy Wax for Candles

Discover soy wax for candle making – a popular plant-based wax suitable for different types of candles and wax products.

Soy wax is made from soybean oil and typically has a soft, creamy texture. Depending on the specific formulation, it can be used for container candles, pillar candles, wax melts and tea lights.

Soy Wax for Container Candles

For candles made in glass jars, tins and other containers, choose a softer soy wax specifically designed for container candles.

Our range includes:

• KERAGREEN® SOY C-EU – soy wax for container candles;
• NatureWax® C-3 – soy wax for container candles and other wax products recommended by the manufacturer;
• Golden Wax® 464 – soy wax for container candles;
• soy and coconut wax blends designed for candles in containers.

Soy Wax for Pillar Candles

Candles poured into moulds and removed once set require a firmer wax.

KERAGREEN® SOY PILLAR is a soy wax specially developed for pillar candle making. It is suitable for decorative, sculptural and other moulded candles.

How to Choose Soy Wax

If you are making a container candle, choose a container-type soy wax.

If you are making a pillar candle in a mould, choose a pillar-type soy wax.

The properties of different soy waxes can vary. Their hardness, melting and pouring temperatures, surface appearance, adhesion to the container and recommended fragrance load depend on the specific formulation.

We therefore always recommend following the technical documentation for the selected wax and carrying out tests with the specific fragrance oil, dye, wick and container or mould being used.
