More sustainable products

A more sustainable product can have many characteristics: it can be made to last, so that it doesn't need to be replaced regularly (e.g. all glasses, metal jars and tools). It can be made from environmentally friendly materials that do not harm the planet and use less energy and resources to produce (e.g. non-GMO soy or rapeseed wax grown in Europe). And the people who make these products are treated fairly - not in factories where workers work long hours for low pay in poor conditions (e.g. products made in Europe that are of higher quality, made in the right conditions, are more sustainable). and preferably made in Europe. And when such products are finally used up, they are easy to recycle or they decompose easily. They also produce little pollution during their lifetime. In short, sustainable products are robust, good for the planet, do not harm people or pollute the air we breathe.
